New Room
The New Room was added to The Row by Helmuth in 1951 to accommodate for the growing number of visitors to the Inn. Built adjacent to the “Holstery” (formerly a small room with a bunk bed and now a part of Antique Apartment), it stands at the end of The Row building complex. The focal point is a wood-burning fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Perched above the creek, this room offers picturesque views of Castro Canyon through windows, framing the towering redwoods that surround the area. Guests in the New Room can basque in the serenity of nature while enveloped in the historic ambiance for which Deetjen’s Inn is known.
