The Van Gogh room, nestled in the Hayloft building, completed in 1938, carries an air of mystery and artistic charm. Named after a Van Gogh original that may of been housed during World War II—a rumor never officially confirmed—the room reflects Deetjen’s connection to art and history. Over the years, it has displayed Van Gogh prints, keeping the spirit of the renowned artist alive. Today, the cozy space, furnished with two twin beds, offers a comfortable and welcoming retreat for two traveling friends. The Van Gogh room remains a charming nook, blending its intriguing past with the timeless comfort of Deetjen’s Inn.
