Tucked away on the first floor in the back of the Franklin building, Edy’s room offers a peaceful spot for those seeking tranquility and vintage allure. Named after the Deetjen’s long-time friend and bookkeeper, Edith O’Ryan, the room invites guests to unwind in rustic charm while being just off the iconic Highway One coastal scenic route. This intimate space provides a cozy haven, seamlessly blending historic character with the soothing proximity to nature.

$250 weekday / $310 weekend

Room Details

  • Check-in time is 4 p.m. and checkout time is 12 noon.

  • All rooms are non-smoking.

  • No pets allowed.

  • We require a two-night minimum stay on weekends and holidays.

  • Rooms are subject Monterey County taxes.

  • To ensure a tranquil stay for all of our guests, we ask that everyone be quiet after 10 p.m. and before 8 a.m.

  • We do not have roll away beds.

  • If there are more than 2 guests per room, we charge a $25 housekeeping fee for each additional guest. By order of the Fire Marshal over occupying a room is prohibited by law.
