The Faraway room, nestled in the tranquility of the Stokes building, beckons with its antique decor and cozy wood stove. Ideal for a peaceful retreat, this room accommodates two guests with a comfortable queen bed and private bathroom. Step outside onto the fenced deck area under the redwoods to enjoy an intimate space and bask in natures beauty. Positioned furthest from the restaurant, the Faraway room offers a secluded escape, allowing guests to unwind in a serene setting while being just off the scenic Highway One.

$375 weekday / $435 weekend

Room Details

  • Check-in time is 4 p.m. and checkout time is 12 noon.

  • All rooms are non-smoking.

  • No pets allowed.

  • We require a two-night minimum stay on weekends and holidays.

  • Rooms are subject Monterey County taxes.

  • To ensure a tranquil stay for all of our guests, we ask that everyone be quiet after 10 p.m. and before 8 a.m.

  • We do not have roll away beds.

  • If there are more than 2 guests per room, we charge a $25 housekeeping fee for each additional guest. By order of the Fire Marshal over occupying a room is prohibited by law.
