Little Room History
The Little room is one of the three smaller spaces in the Hayloft building. The building was handcrafted in 1938 by Helmuth in the board-and-batten Norwegian style that defines much of the Inn’s charm. The room’s modest size and thoughtful craftsmanship earned it the fitting name “Little Room.” Despite its simplicity, this cozy retreat offers the same warmth and tranquility that permeates all of Deetjen’s, making it a delightful space for guests seeking a quiet, intimate connection with the Inn’s rustic beauty and timeless history.
