The New Room holds a special place in the Inn’s history as the last room personally built by Helmuth Deetjen. Constructed in 1951, it was added to the end of The Row, adjoining the Holstery. This room marked the final chapter of Helmuth’s hands-on work in expanding the Inn and embodies his signature rustic, handcrafted style.
